Everyday driving
The batteries that fail in Mount Nasura, and why
Mount Nasura is settled suburb driving — the school run, the shops, the trip to work and back. It sounds gentle on a battery and it is the opposite: a run of a few kilometres never puts back what starting the engine takes out, so the charge level creeps down over months until one cool morning the car won't turn over.
That short-trip pattern is most of the driving here.
We test the battery and the alternator free before selling you anything — if it's charging fine and just needs a run, we'll tell you that.

Battery replacement in Mount Nasura
Mount Nasura sits on the rise where Albany Highway starts climbing towards Brookton Highway, and the vehicle mix changes with the terrain: more 4WDs, more utes with trays, more caravans parked beside the house for half the year than you'd find on the flat.
Dual-battery setups are the common job, and they're also where the worst advice lives — a cranking battery used as a house battery is ruined in a season, and a deep-cycle asked to turn a cold diesel over won't. We size the pair separately to what you actually run, and because it's a hill run we bring both and fit them in one trip rather than coming back.
Armadale Kelmscott District Memorial Hospital is inside the suburb boundary, and staff-carpark callouts at shift change are a regular part of the run up here.

Mount Nasura FAQ
Common Mount Nasura questions
Do you deliver batteries to Mount Nasura?
Yes. Mount Nasura is 11.6km from our Maddington warehouse — about 15 minutes via Albany Highway. There's a small delivery fee outside our three 5km free zones (Canning Vale, Maddington and Fremantle), or you can collect from the counter and pay the straight warehouse price. Call 08 9451 4048 for the exact figure.
How much is a car battery in Mount Nasura?
It depends on the spec — a small sedan and a European AGM are a long way apart. Because we buy factory-direct there's no retail markup in the middle. Call 08 9451 4048 with your rego and you'll get a fixed number, not a range.
How do I get to your warehouse from Mount Nasura?
Unit 11/95-97 Kelvin Road, Maddington, WA 6109 — about 15 minutes from Mount Nasura, straight down Albany Highway, about 11.6km. Free customer parking on site. Walk in any time we're open, get the battery and the alternator tested free, and have it fitted while you wait.
Are you open after hours if I'm stuck in Mount Nasura?
Open 24/7 — every day of the year — call 08 9451 4048 day or night. If you're stranded in Mount Nasura we'll give you a straight ETA rather than a "sometime today", and we'll come to the car.
Do you cover all of the City of Armadale?
Yes. Mount Nasura is one of the City of Armadale suburbs we run to, and we deliver across the whole council area — residential, trade and fleet. If you're on the boundary and not sure, call 08 9451 4048 with the street and we'll tell you straight away whether you're inside a free-delivery zone.
What happens to my old battery?
We take it away and recycle it, free, whether we delivered to Mount Nasura or you walked into the warehouse. Lead-acid is close to fully recyclable and it should never go in a bin — if you've got an old one sitting in the shed, bring it in with you and we'll take that too.
