Everyday driving
The batteries that fail in Stirling, and why
Stirling is settled suburb driving — the school run, the shops, the trip to work and back. It sounds gentle on a battery and it is the opposite: a run of a few kilometres never puts back what starting the engine takes out, so the charge level creeps down over months until one cool morning the car won't turn over.
That short-trip pattern is most of the driving here.
We test the battery and the alternator free before selling you anything — if it's charging fine and just needs a run, we'll tell you that.

Battery replacement in Stirling
Stirling is a freeway suburb — Mitchell Freeway down one side, Karrinyup Road across it, and the station carpark feeding commuters into the city all day. Osborne Park Hospital sits inside the boundary too, which gives us the other half of the work.
Both are carpark jobs. A car standing eight or twelve hours in the open and then asked to crank is exactly how a tired battery finally gives up, and it always happens at the worst hour. We come to the bay — station or hospital — test the battery and the alternator free, and fit on the spot in about twenty minutes rather than leaving you to organise a tow off the freeway edge.
- Delivery to Stirling quoted upfront, before we load the van
- Free battery and alternator testing, no obligation
- SuperCharge and Exide batteries in stock for common specs
- Your old battery is taken away and recycled at no charge
- Open 24/7, every day of the year

Stirling FAQ
Common Stirling questions
Do you deliver batteries to Stirling?
Yes. Stirling is 33.3km from our Maddington warehouse — about 30 minutes via Tonkin Highway and Morley Drive. There's a small delivery fee outside our three 5km free zones (Canning Vale, Maddington and Fremantle), or you can collect from the counter and pay the straight warehouse price. Call 08 9451 4048 for the exact figure.
How much is a car battery in Stirling?
It depends on the spec — a small sedan and a European AGM are a long way apart. Because we buy factory-direct there's no retail markup in the middle. Call 08 9451 4048 with your rego and you'll get a fixed number, not a range.
How do I get to your warehouse from Stirling?
Unit 11/95-97 Kelvin Road, Maddington, WA 6109 — about 30 minutes from Stirling, via Tonkin Highway and Morley Drive, about 33.3km. Free customer parking on site. Walk in any time we're open, get the battery and the alternator tested free, and have it fitted while you wait.
Are you open after hours if I'm stuck in Stirling?
Open 24/7 — every day of the year — call 08 9451 4048 day or night. If you're stranded in Stirling we'll give you a straight ETA rather than a "sometime today", and we'll come to the car.
Do you cover all of the City of Stirling?
Yes. Stirling is one of the City of Stirling suburbs we run to, and we deliver across the whole council area — residential, trade and fleet. If you're on the boundary and not sure, call 08 9451 4048 with the street and we'll tell you straight away whether you're inside a free-delivery zone.
What happens to my old battery?
We take it away and recycle it, free, whether we delivered to Stirling or you walked into the warehouse. Lead-acid is close to fully recyclable and it should never go in a bin — if you've got an old one sitting in the shed, bring it in with you and we'll take that too.
